CAFE ONE – Composite Application Framework for JD Edwards Enterprise One

Composite Application Framework (Café One) has been enhanced to support multiple JD Edwards Enterprise One Applications forms, in addition to support external web applications (URLs) and Oracle Business Intelligence reports. It is also called an user defined object (UDO), since it does not need a development lifecycle.

CAFE1 replaces the former Related Information Application Framework (RIAF) feature starting with the 9.1.3 tools release update.

9.1.4 tools release update introduces the ability  to link to multiple E1 application forms together in context, in addition to support external web applications (URLs) and Oracle Business Intelligence reports (OBIEE or OVR) Oracle Documentation to CafeOne – Click here

Check out using Web OMW to check in, check out, move, and transfer user defined objects. Similarly, check the process to view, create, edit the UDOs

From 9.2 tools release, you can secure the CafeOne layouts via Security Workbench
